There are lots of cool things to do in the Chama area, of course. If you are staying at Corkins, you can wander all over their 700 acre property, including some private fishing if you are so inclined. They have trails along the bottom of the cliffs and along the small Rio Brazos.

To do at Corkins:

  • Swimming Pool and Sauna

  • Fishing at their private lake

  • Hiking

  • Playground for the kids with climbing structures and swings

  • Game Room with pool, foosball, ping pong, darts, a poker table, and other fun stuff

  • Games (we'll be bringing up board games)

  • Outdoor games like football, frisbee, croquet, etc.

In Chama itself, there is the famous Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad; it is a steam train that goes up through the mountains into Colorado.
